
Mission:
To cultivate a vibrant environment where high school students and teachers can immerse themselves in the invaluable experiences of promoting literacy and serving society, while honoring exceptional and diverse achievements in the English language arts and related subjects.
Grade / Class Criteria:
•
Sophomore or older who has a 3.5 cumulative English GPA
•
Has completed a statement of interest both in the English Language Arts as well as promotion of literacy within the community
Community Service Hours:
•
Complete 6 hours of community service
The majority of students participate in the NEHS elementary pen pal program which satisfies these hours.
